CHILDREN
It goes without saying that your children are your responsibility. Please make sure you know where they are at all times and agree a meeting point should you become separated. All children under 16 years old are given a wristband with space to write a parent or guardian’s mobile number. If you happen to find a child that is obviously lost, please stay where you found them and get someone else to alert security or one of the team at THE SAFE SPACE. Do not lead the child anywhere yourself.
THE SAFE SPACE
You will find THE SAFE SPACE tent just off the concrete path between the Medical Centre and the Information Point. Safeguarding lead Nick and his team provide 24-hour cover in THE SAFE SPACE to deal with any lost or found children, young people or vulnerable adults. The team are available to help with welfare concerns, practical and personal non-medical problems or if you just want to ’take a break’. It’s a safe space where you will always receive a friendly welcome.
ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
Neither anti-social or illegal behaviour will be tolerated and anyone found to be carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities are likely to be ejected without refund and possibly banned from all future Beautiful Days festivals. Stewards are positioned throughout site and are trained to report any harassment, or violence, to security to be investigated. Please always talk to us if you have concerns whilst on site. We don’t want people on site who haven’t paid or been invited to be there or who are spoiling the enjoyment of others. Persons who have gained access to the festival site without a valid ticket, or permission, or have gained access by fraudulent means may be searched and will be evicted.
MEDICAL
We have a fully staffed 24hr Medical Centre on the edge of the Children’s Area in front of Escot House (the big house!). Please go and see them if you need to seek medical advice or ask any member of staff to radio for assistance if you need it.
WATER
If we happen to be lucky and have a hot one then please keep yourself and your family hydrated. There are free Water Points available across the festival site, in the arenas and the campsites. Please bring a reusable bottle with you to refill and drink water regularly – particularly if you’re enjoying a few beers.
HELP ON SITE
Ask any Oxfam steward or Security for help or assistance if you need it, we will do our best to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable weekend at Beautiful Days.
